Jose Hernandez from Uplift Mighty hopes to one day use the skills he acquires while majoring in mechanical engineering to improve military technology to make it safer. But before he can make a positive impact in the lives of the men and women in the armed forces, he’ll be sending off his college application at this year’s College and Career March.
