Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

From September 15th through October 15th, we celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month. This month-long celebration recognizes the achievements and contributions of Hispanics throughout history while also commemorating the independence days of several Latin-American countries.

Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua all share September 15th as their Independence Day, while Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence on September 16th and September 18th, respectively.

At Uplift, we are so proud to honor Hispanic Heritage Month, and to celebrate, we will be sharing the stories of our Hispanic scholars, teachers, and leaders who collectively help shape our network. Stay tuned to our social media pages!

If you’re looking for other ways to celebrate, check out these events taking place in Dallas and Fort Worth.
