Nana-Aba has been at Uplift Mighty since her freshman year of high school. Nana-Aba credits her college counselors for being so adaptive despite the pandemic and allowing her the opportunity to still be informed and prepared to apply and get accepted to several colleges and universities.
Prior to heading off to college, Nana-Aba will participate in Bank of America’s Student Leader program. Nana-Aba was selected as one of five Dallas-Ft. Worth area students to be a 2021 Bank of America Student Leader this summer.
More than 300 students are selected nationwide, and the process is competitive. This summer, they will build critical skills and network with like-minded peers at a local non-profit; we’re excited to see how they contribute to the community now and in the future.
