At Home Activities:
Primary Scholars: With school, home, and activities in between, life can sometimes feel chaotic to kids. Help your child learn how to stop and relax with handmade peace rocks. This activity encourages them to tap into their artistic side while learning strategies to find peace every day.
Middle School Scholars: Learn about science with sweets! Help your scholar make an edible cell cake at home with simple sweet ingredients. It’s a great way to dive into science with delicious food.
High School Scholars: Spark interest in the best fit college for your scholar. Have them create a journal of interests, identify likes and dislikes about colleges or research and pick their top 5 colleges. Tour nearby colleges or universities like SMU, UNT or TCU, take a road trip to Baylor, UT or Texas A&M. Seniors might want to create a to-do list in preparation of their first year in college.
Please enjoy these and the many other opportunities available in the DFW area this Spring Break. We will see you on Monday, March 18th when we return from Spring Break.
Thanks for the spring break activities list–very helpful. We are also going to Galveston, TX as well as Kemah Boardwalk this week. 🙂
