Uplift Luna Junior, Sharrieff Muhammad, has begun his studies with The School of Ethics and Global Leadership program in Washington D.C. The school is a selective, semester long program which attempts to mold high school juniors from around the US into promising leaders of the future.
“The Mission of The School for Ethics and Global Leadership is to provide intellectually motivated high school juniors who represent the diversity of the United States with the best possible opportunity to shape themselves into ethical leaders who create positive change in our world,” he said.
Watch and listen as Sharrieff briefly covers the program, the application process, and why he applied in the first place:
Sharrieff was one of 24 students accepted this year and has enjoyed the liberating experience of being around other open-minded and diverse individuals. Although he was reluctant to leave his mother, he welcomes the challenge, and feels that the experience was going to help him get ready for college.
