New study finds charter school benefits outside the classroom

charter newsOften families look to charter schools for their high academic standards and performance, but a new study shows that the benefits of one charter school go beyond the school day.

A new study conducted by Harvard’s Roland G. Fryer and Princeton’s Will Dobbie followed more than 400 students at Harlem-based Promise Academy and found that students lower rates of incarceration and teen pregnancy.
